Ohnut is currently made of an FDA approved body- and skin-safe polymer blend. It’s a thermo-set material that is BPA, phthalate, and latex free.

Note about material: The original Ohnut was designed in silicone, which therefore made it incompatible with silicone lubrication. Silicone lubricants are generally recommended by the pelvic health / medical community for their long lasting quality (having to reapply water-based lubrication during a connected moment can be very disruptive). However, silicone lubrication will degrade silicone products, therefore we decided to adjust Ohnut's material to be easily integrated with any preferred lubrication. In regards to permeability, our manufacturing experts have informed us that, in general, most plastics are permeable, with the amount of permeability depending on what size molecule and under what pressure. Ohnut's material is not permeable with the amount of pressure applied during a couple's use. However, as a precautionary measure, we recommend that Ohnut is not shared between different partners. Our material is also not considered 'hygroscopic' (water absorbing).

While Ohnut can be used by penetrating partners of any gender, feedback from those with penises includes not noticing the difference and feeling like full penetration, while also enjoying its additional use for foreplay. Some may feel a slight “hug” sensation. The majority report that sex is more satisfying because they're not as worried about causing their partner pain and their partner isn’t as worried about being in pain. This generally results in a feeling of confidence, of letting go with one another, of enjoyment. Ohnut now comes in two sizes: Classic and Wider.

Classic: Designed for those who wear “Standard” or “regular” condoms; Lifestyles Snugger Fit, Slim Fit, or similar.
Wider: Designed for those who wear Trojan Magnum, Durex XXL, or similar; or who prefer a looser fit.

In comparison, the Wider Ohnut is 15% wider than the Classic Ohnut and stretches up to 50% more.

All Ohnuts are made with a soft material that stretches significantly for comfort.

When in doubt about sizing, order the Wider Ohnut. It's unlikely to be too wide for effective use.

Penetrating partner preference and size of origin may vary widely. So! If Ohnut feels too tight, store the rings wrapped around a water bottle that is 3” in diameter (also serves as a great drink koozie) for at least a couple of hours. This will temporarily stretch out the rings. Let us know how this works for you.

A common misconception! But no, Ohnut is actually worn by the penetrating partner at the base of the penis shaft or insertable object of choice. During penetration, Ohnut compresses down to act like a buffer, modifying the depth. Ohnut is not designed to ever go inside the vagina. 

If you feel discomfort at any time — speak up to your partner, take a break, and listen to your body. Ohnut is not a medical device and does not prevent or cure any conditions — so it’s a good idea to consult with your clinician. You may also consider visiting a pelvic floor physical therapist or a pelvic floor occupational therapist.

While Ohnut is designed primarily for people who experience pain from deep penetration, we have heard some positive feedback from people who have entry pain. This may be due to the body relaxing when there is greater communication between partners or a change in head space. However, if you cannot tolerate any penetration at all, Ohnut may not be helpful to you. Check out our reviews to see what others have to say.

Yes! You’ll just need to put the condom on prior to putting on your Ohnut. Be sure to use additional lubrication before sliding Ohnut on.

Yes, absolutely! Ohnut helps partners explore comfortable depths of penetration be that vaginal, anal, or oral. 

Lubrication is essential to the Ohnut experience (do not attempt use without it!).  Since Ohnut is made from an FDA-approved family of polymers, it is compatible with both silicone based and water based lubrication. Oil based lubes are not recommended, including coconut oil, as they can degrade the material and cause your rings to tear. 

Coconut oil (or any oil-based lubricant) should not be used with Ohnut, as it can degrade the material and cause your rings to tear. We cannot replace damaged rings that have been used with oil-based lubricants. Water- and silicone-based lubricants are great, though!

CBD or cannabis lubes can be used with Ohnut as long as they are water- or silicone-based. Ohnut should not be used with any oil-based lubricant, as oil can degrade the material and cause your rings to tear. We cannot replace damaged rings that have been used with oil-based lubricants. 

As a precautionary measure we recommend that Ohnut is not shared between different partners. Technically, Ohnut's material can be porous under a significant amount of pressure but that is more pressure than the amount applied during partner use. While there is currently no evidence that Ohnut harbors bacteria or can transmit STIs between partners, we want you to be as safe as possible. 

Make sure to store your Ohnut linked together in its bag between uses. Hand wash your Ohnut with mild soap and water after use and allow to air dry. Save your dishwasher for the dishes.

There is no need to sterilize, boil, or put your Ohnut in the dishwasher. Ohnut is effectively cleaned with through hand washing with mild soap and warm water after use. Allow to air dry and store with rings linked together in the bag provided.

The 2-Pack Sidekick is not a replacement for Ohnut (Set of 4)—but an addition! Ohnut's rings squish down during penetration (like a sexy little bouncy castle), so we recommend starting with 3 rings. Two Ohnut rings may not be enough, and does not give you the freedom to add more if you desire.

Since every body is unique, using Ohnut will not be the same for everyone. Depending on stress level, time of month, and other extenuating factors—our bodies are literally different every time we have sex. Customers have sent a ton of positive feedback, but even for those couples who love it, sometimes it doesn't work as desired. After all, we're only human. Good days and bad days are normal. 

There are still all kinds of different things you can do with your Ohnut. Some folks have really enjoyed using Ohnut as a couples "stroker" or for oral sex or... (this is a new one!) one customer recently said her partner used two rings as a "ball stretcher."

Yep! The shipping packaging for Ohnut will in fact be phenomenally boring, and for additional discretionary pleasure, the return address label won’t have 'Ohnut' written on it. It'll be coming from "Twenty Three Ventures."

Given the intimate nature of our product, we are only able to accept returns or offer refunds in the following circumstances:

If Ohnut arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it at no charge - contact us here within 14 days for assistance.

If you wish to return an unopened and unused Ohnut, contact us here within 14 days of receipt and we will be happy to help you. Please include your order number and the email address you placed your order with. If approved for a return, a $12 return shipping and restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Initial shipping charges are non-refundable. 

Please note that we are unable to accept returns on orders shipped outside the United States under any circumstances. 

If you wish to exchange an unopened and unused Ohnut for a different color or size, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we’ll be happy to help you. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Cancelations are only possible before your order ships. If your order ships before it can be canceled, you're welcome to initiate a return as long as the original packaging has not been opened. All returns have a $12 restocking fee, deducted from the refund amount. 

Ohnut carries a 12 month warranty from date of purchase. With proper care, cleaning, and storage your Ohnut should be functional for approximately 2 years. If your Ohnut becomes dysfunctional within 12 months of purchase, please contact us for assistance. Be sure to include your order number in your message. Please note that using any oils or oil-based lubricant with Ohnut, including coconut oil, will void this warranty.

For shipping within the United States, Ground shipping typically takes 3-10 business days to deliver via USPS. 5 Day shipping typically takes 3-5 business days to deliver via USPS Priority Mail.

For international orders, shipping typically takes 7-10 business days but can be further delayed by customs. We ship internationally via DHL, UPS, or FedEx. Please make sure to include your phone number when you checkout in case we need to contact you about the delivery of your order.

Ohnut is international! We're proud to ship to over 195 countries from the United States. Our shipping fees include duties and taxes up front to speed up transit time (and so you don't have any surprise fees to receive your package). However, we do recommend that you review your country's import policies. 

International shipping typically takes between 8-14 business days (an estimation is also provided at checkout).
